Having worked on the sale and acquisition of prime property over the last 10 years, Jamie has become renowned for providing clear cut and transparent advice to clients, achieving excellent results, often where other agents have tried before. After graduating from Cirencester with an RICS accredited degree in Property, Jamie started his career with a brief stint in the Cotswolds before moving to London in 2010. Having learnt his craft through challenging an unprecedented market conditions over the last decade, Jamie always puts the best interests of a client first, devising bespoke strategies to best meet a clients’ objectives and through his proactivity and no-nonsense approach, has been an integral part of turning Maskells into a forward thinking and award winning firm. Testament to his approach is the fact that most of his new business comes from recommendation whether that be from previous clients or indeed from other agents.

Peter Hermon-Taylor , Managing Director, Lettings

Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the London Lettings market, latterly as a director of John D Wood & Co., having set up and run various offices in Prime London for the brand. Prior to that Peter was a manager at John D Wood, having started his career with Fitz Gibbon Residential, a lettings specialist, and been mentored by Sue Fitzgibbon, one of the founding members of ARLA. During his property career Peter has been successful in establishing a wide ranging network of connections, he has an in depth understanding of lettings legislation and is highly regarded throughout the property industry. Peter has a track record establishing and leading high grossing offices and has built his career on the fundamentals of putting the client first and forging long-lasting relationships. Peter is responsible for managing the Lettings Business and liaising with Landlords on their properties. Peter is also an equity holder in the business.

Prior to setting up Conster Capital Ventures, the parent company of Maskells Estate Agents, Charles held senior positions at Bear Stearns, Bank of Scotland and Societe Generale where he specialized in Mortgage Backed Securities (Residential and Commercial), Asset Backed Securities and Structured Credit. Charles assists the teams with market data analysis, asset valuations and deals with the company’s financial institution clients. Charles also looks after White Circle Collection (www.whitecirclecollection.com), the multi-family office sister company to Maskells. Charles is bilingual French.

Vashti Sperring , Operations Director

Vashti has 15 years’ experience in Operations, having latterly been Head of Operations for John D Wood & Co., overseeing 20 branches. Vashti is responsible for all the accounting and back office functions for the company as well as overseeing the Property Management department, where her meticulous and dedicated approach sets the benchmark within the industry. Vashti’s knowledge of Letting’s statute and regulations allow us to provide Maskells’ clients the best possible service. She regularly consults with ARLA and other professional property industry bodies. Vashti holds a Master’s degree in Business Management.

Gareth Jones has specialised in the sale and acquisition of prime houses and apartments in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea for over 25 years. He was previously a partner at Carter Jonas. Before that he worked in the super prime house department at Knight Frank for ten years in their Kensington office and spent seven years before that building a property business covering Little Venice, Maida Vale, St. Johns Wood and Hampstead. He has been involved in many of the most significant sales in London and more recently in Holland Park, Addison Road, Holland Villas Road, and Ilchester Place along with landmark transactions in the Phillimore Estate, and on Kensington Palace Gardens.

Tabitha Jones has over 17 years of experience in Lettings and spent a decade of her career in Kensington working for Knight Frank. She specialised in the prime and super prime lettings division across the Royal Borough and was regularly in the top three negotiators of the business. She built her breadth of knowledge and understanding of the industry whilst not only achieving but exceeding her targets. She also managed clients and their needs such as extending their leases, commercial property ventures and interior design and introduce them to other property professionals who she has established strong relationships with over the past years. Before that she was based in Wimbledon working for Jackson-Stops where she was the top negotiator and carried out a vast number of deals annually.

Alex Joined Maskells in September 2015 having spent over 12 years in agency, latterly running a portfolio of over 120 units for a private property company in Prime London. He works closely with Poppy to ensure our applicants receive the service and attention to detail they have come to expect from Maskells. Alex also has a wealth of experience in property management from his last role and assists Vashti in managing our landlord's properties.

Joining Maskells in the Spring of 2021, Hamish offers a dynamic approach to the ever-changing marketplace. Having studied Business and Management at The University of Edinburgh, Hamish went on to read for an RICS accredited masters in Real Estate at The University of Reading. Having started his career in commercial property, Hamish is now enjoying the challenges and intricacies that come hand-in-hand with the residential property market in Prime Centre London. Hamish is a trusted, hard working and energetic agent that seeks the best for both clients and retained buyers through a multi-faceted and informed approach. He is based in our Walton Street office and has knowledge of a wide geographical area.

Charlotte joined Maskells after four years working in sales for a specialist boutique agent covering RBKC, Westminster and other surrounding areas of Prime Central London. Prior to that she worked in recruitment with a primary focus on business development. The skills she learned in these roles are deployed at Maskells to help grow our already broad network. Charlotte is dedicated to building on and developing her current experience in Prime Central London and ensure our clients and buyers alike receive the highest level service, for which Maskells is renowned.

Having trained at Foxtons, Poppy left to work for Douglas and Gordon where she was their highest grossing negotiator in the London Market. Poppy joined Maskells in 2018 where she has proven herself again in dealing with high value properties and applicants and has again proven why she is one of the best in the market.

Having graduated from the University of York and focusing the majority of her degree in architectural archaeology, Sophie offers a different aspect for Maskells. With her broad experience in administration with involvement in sectors such as sport, museums, and hospitality she is able to continue providing the efficiency, service and attention to detail that Maskells’ clients are accustomed too.

Hayley started her estate agency career at Jackson Stops in Richmond, where she was lettings administrator and gained extensive knowledge of the industry and experience in providing excellent customer service at all times. Having been in the industry now for over 7 years, she has always worked for boutique estate agents where valuing each client individually and providing exceptional customer service is at the top of her agenda. She likes developing good relationships with tenants and landlords and being on hand to help whenever they need it and credits herself with having a high level of attention to detail at all times. Having been involved in many different volunteer roles over the last 15 years, she is now a leader at a brownie pack in her local area and enjoys giving back to her local community in her spare time.
