The single most important thing you can do is avoid overpricing. Experts agree that in a buyers’ market, an over-ambitious asking price is a massive turn-off.
“First and foremost, purchasers are looking at pricing and if it’s even a little punchy they will just walk past or scroll on to the next,” says Charles Curran, managing director of Maskells estate agents.
