I have had the pleasure of working with Jamie Hope twice, once when he was my buying agent in 2012, and then again in 2017 when he was the sales agent for my flat.
I am based in Asia, so for me service is key. In 2012 I gave him very precise instructions of what I was looking for and he presented 3 flats that met my specifications. And yet, he listened closely to me and pointed out that perhaps I was looking for something rather different than I had specified. He presented me with this alternative, and indeed he was correct. I made the purchase and the flat worked out perfectly.
In the summer of 2017, we decided to sell the flat, and again he was extremely efficient in getting it prepped for viewing and he had an excellent marketing strategy that brought in plenty of traffic.
Despite the weakening market, he was able to create competitive tension and we achieved a satisfactory price by the end of the year.
If/when I come back to London, he would be my agent of choice and I heartily recommend him to both buyers and sellers.
